On 10 April 2024, The Institute for Research and Development (IRD), Sukhothai Thammathirat organized an Open House event at Meeting Room 5209, Seminar I Building of STOU Headquarters in Nonthaburi. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narathip Sriram, Acting Vice-President for Education, Learning Support, and Research presided over the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was to promote and create an atmosphere for research at the university. It also aimed to share knowledge and encourage research development, publication, and support at both national and international levels among faculty members. The STOU IRD took this opportunity to celebrate the important occasion of the 32nd<\/sup> anniversary of its establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured a Special Talk on \u201cMission & Next Steps with IRD\u201d and three Academic Forums including \u201cResearch Design Concepts\u201d by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanchana Wattanasuntorn, \u201cKey Components of a Research Proposal\u201d by Assoc. Dr. Taweewat Wattanakuljaroen, and \u201cWeaknesses in Research Proposal Writing\u201d by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarisak Suntornchai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The STOU Research STAR 2024 Awards were also presented at the event. The awards comprised 21 prizes in 7 categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
