On 19 February 2024, the School of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University together with the Office of Natural Resource and Environment of Samut Songkhram Province, organized an event \u201cAwareness-Raising for the Use of Agricultural Waste\u201d at Kanokrat Resort in Ban Prok, Muang, Samut Songkhram. Mr. Korakot Wongsuwan, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, presided over the opening ceremony. There were 70 participants from 3 districts in the province. The event was a part of the \u201cGarbage Collection Management and Waste Value Addition for Samut Songkhram\u201d Project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asst. Prof. Dr. Gan Chanyawudhiwan, Acting Vice-President for Academic Services, Cultural Preservation, and International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Parichat Dittakit, Director of the Rajamangalaphisek Education Park Division, led a group of faculty members and staff to join the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Parichat gave a special talk on \u201cInnovation in Agricultural Waste Management in Driving BCG Model Towards Sustainable Social Development\u201d and joined a discussion on \u201cSystematic Management of Waste at Source and Waste Economic Value Addition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
